Catalogue Note
This wristwatch features the rare 'Explorer' style dial with combination arabic/baton numerals. During the 1960s and 1970s, the references 5512 and 5513 were fitted with the Submariner baton/dot numeral dial as standard. However, it was possible in the period to purchase these references with an optional arabic/baton numeral dial. 'Explorer' dialled versions are rare and favoured by collectors for their combination of the classic Submariner case with the striking styling of the ever popular 'Explorer' dial.
