Catalogue Note

Production of reference 3940 began in 1985 and was the successor to references 3448 and 3450. The second series of reference 3940, to which the present lot belongs, was manufactured between 1988 and 1998. Visually, the main difference between the first and second series was in the leap year indication dial; on the second series, unlike the first, the leap year is crossed.
