Catalogue Note
The Universal Compax models are amongst the most classic of all 20th century complication wristwatches. Highly popular throughout the 1940s and 1950s, the original 'Tri-Compax' was made until the mid 1960s. Today these vintage models are coveted by collectors and enthusiasts alike for their classic styling and complication movements. The present example is unusual for retaining its original instructions and swing tag.
