Catalogue Note
The accompanying Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives confirms that this wristwatch was manufactured in 1954 and sold on March 29th, 1955.
The 570 was manufactured in two series:
Series 1: 1938-1953 (calibre 12-120) Series 2: 1950-1961 (calibre 12-400)
The present lot belongs to the second series and is one of approximately 25 examples publicly known in pink gold. A very popular reference for its large size, the present lot is especially desirable for its combination of pink gold case and pink dial. To the best of our knowledge, the present wristwatch has never been offered at public auction.
