A suite of Italian mahogany and giltwood seat furniture circa 1820

comprising a pair of armchairs and a sofa, each armchair with an arched back with a gilt motif terminating in a palmette flanked by two columns terminating in gilt finials above an openwork-carved acanthus leaf motif, with the arms above columns, with a padded seat, on front tapering legs with toupie feet; the sofa with three similar arched backs interspersed with columns with gilt finials flanked by square columns with gilt finials and roundels,  above a column with gilt capitol and base, above a padded seat above an apron centred by a gilt foliage mount
