the white enamel dial signed Baillon à Paris, with Roman and Arabic numerals contained within a drum shaped case, surmounted by a leaf cast neo-classical urn, the sides cast with lion masks with tasselled drapery in their jaws, on scrolled corbels, with a pierced central section hung with berried laurel swags, on an inverted breakfront platform base, centred by a panel of guilloche enclosing flowerheads with a patera at each corner, on paw feet
