Condition

The colour of the wood is less red and more attractive than appears in the catalogue photograph. There is a restored vertical construction crack down the right hand side, which is opening up again in parts, and a small one down the left hand side, but these do not detract from the piece and can be filled. There is some minor rubbing to the handles and minor tarnishing to the mounts generally, which can easily be cleaned according to taste. On the right side there are three pairs of very small raised sections in the veneer which are of a slightly different colour, this could be due to the internal construction. Ensuite to lot 96.
