- each 74.5cm. high, 60cm. wide; 2ft. 5¼in., 1ft. 11½in.
each with an acanthus leaf cast cover with an acorn finial, above a body with two snake handles cast with a vitruvian scroll frieze and anthemion band, above a circular base with egg and dart motifs

The model of the present vases is loosely inspired on Roman models made towards the late 18th century, see Alvar Gonzalez Palacios, Il Tempio del Gusto, Roma e il Regno delle Due Sicilie, Milan, 1984, p. 106, fig. 222, which illustrates a very similar model at the Galleria dei Candelabri, Vatican Museum, Rome and which also inspired Benedetto Boschetti later on for some of his creations.
