Catalogue Note

R.W. Symonds in English Furniture from Charles II to George II, 1980 Edition, p.195-6,  illustrates a mahogany pole screen and a dumb waiter both of which have a very similar base to the offered lot. The dumb waiter he suggests may be Irish.
