A Sandstone Torso of Vishnu, Central India , circa 10th century

Vishnu standing in samapada, wears an elaborately beaded waistband and heavy inticately designed necklaces, at the centre of his chest he bears the daimond shaped shrivatsa, the mark of his divinity, although his arms are now missing it is likely that he would have held his attributes the mace, wheel, lotus and conch shell
