CATALOGUE NOTE
Kruse's model of Junge Liebe dates to 1897 and was originally carved in wood. It was exhibited at the Berlin Exhibition of 1898 and won a gold medal in Paris. It was edited in two sizes by Gladenbeck in both bronze and terracotta.
