the case inset with panels of Japanese lacquer and fragments of famille verte porcelain, the fall front opening to a central drawer with hidden drawer to the reverse surrounded by an arrangement of eight drawers veneered in tortoiseshell and outlined in bone, raised on ebonized ball feet.
