Mid 18th Century, Stamped F Garnier JME
the breche d'Alep marble top of serpentine outline above two drawers veneered sans traverse with tied-floral bouquets and mounted with an ormolu cartouche, the sides with similar inlay, raised on cabriole legs headed by chutes and ending in sabots. Remounted.
François Garnier (d. 1774) ebéniste during the reign of Louis XV.
