the enamelled dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, the movement and dial signed Debeu a Paris with a pull repeat, the drum shaped case surrounded by pierced latticework and foliate trails, the lower section cast with rocaille and C scrolls.

The ‘C Couronné poinçon’, (Crowned C) was a tax mark struck on any alloy incorporating copper, produced or offered for re-sale between March 1745 and February 1749.
