the enamelled dial with Roman and Arabic numerals signed Gallot A Paris, the movement signed Gallot à Paris; the case surmounted by an urn finial, the flanking pilasters with acanthus finials the sides hung with ribbon-tied laurel leaves and acanthus leaves above a glazed panel, the case tapering to tied acanthus leaves and a berried knop, the whole cast with guilloche.
