Description
Gaudron A Paris is the signature used by the workshops of Antoine I Gaudron and also his sons Pierre and Antoine II Gaudron from the 1660s until 1728.

the clock with a divided enamelled and ormolu dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, the movement signed Gaudron A Paris set within an arched case, surmounted by a seated putto, the backboard inlaid with an arabesque panel above a parquetry floor, raised on feet cast with caryatids, the tapered pedestal inlaid with an arabesque panel raised on bracket feet, the whole outlined in ormolu. Restored, largely remounted.
