7½-inch twenty-five piece enamel cartouche dial signed Le.Paute.Hger.Du Roy. Au.Luxembourg similarly signed rectangular plated movement with five knopped pillars, outside countwheel and later anchor escapement with sunmask pendulum, the waisted case veneered with well figured wood, rococo urn cresting, outlined with foliate mounts and with a Ho-Ho bird on the lower door edge, the conforming wall bracket similarly decorated

The signature Lepaute Horloger Du Roy was used by Jean-André and Jean-Baptiste Lepaute between 1750 and 1792
