the flared sides flanked by a pair of zoomorphic mask handles, supported by three squat cabriole legs, decorated overall in cloisonn?enamels, to the exterior with six large lotus blooms on a continuous meandering leafy stem, above a band of upright lappets, the interior inset with a gilt-metal insert below a band of scrolling lotus, the base similarly decorated with scrolling lotus
