the deep rounded sides supported by a short foot rising to an everted rim, the exterior painted in vibrant famille-rose enamels with six large blooms including peony, chrysanthemum, lotus and hibiscus on interlocking dense scrolling leafy stems, all reserved on a rich yellow ground, the interior decorated in the centre with five iron-red bats, the base inscribed with the six-character seal mark in underglaze-blue
