Description

of rectangular section, the upper surface and front and back sides of the cover each finely inlaid with a variety of hard stones to form an oval panel of lush flowering and fruiting finger-citron, peach, pomegranate, peony, rose and winter sweet, amid leafy budding stems, framed by angular 'C'-shaped inlaid jade scrolls in the corners, the ends of the cover carved to simulate eight neatly stacked bound albums, the cabinet with an arrangement of three drawers and three shelves, each drawer with a metal knop, the shelves embellished with carved scrolling borders, supported by a waisted stand reticulated and carved with further scrolling designs and supported by a rectangular stretchers
