the globular body with deep rounded sides rising to an inverted rim, supported on a tall stem with splayed foot encircled by a raised rib, the body decorated with stylised lotus blooms on meandering leafy stems, below a band of overlapping ruyi-heads at the mouth and above upright leaf lappets, the stem encircled by four leafy florets, the foot with upright lappets, inscribed on the underside with the six-character mark in a horizontal line
