the oviform body rising from a recessed base to a short straight neck, the exterior painted in varying tones of deep cobalt-blue with four double-chrysanthemum medallions divided by smaller stylised lotus blooms on meandering leafy stems, between a double-ruyi  band encircling the neck and a band of lotus lappets at the foot, the base inscribed with a  six-character seal mark in underglaze-blue

Approx half the neck has been restored. There is a small area of approx 0.8 by 0.5cm to a floral roundel which has been slightly polished to smoothen/remove kiln impurities or a burst air bubble. There is expected light wear and scratches to the surface. Otherwise generally in good condition overall.
