A ruby-backed bowl of the same size and form, with the same four character Yongzheng reign mark within a double square, is in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, illustrated in Suzanne G. Valenstein, A Handbook of Chinese Ceramics, New York, 1989, pl. 255. See also a bowl of this shape and size, but with an anhua decoration of dragons, included in the exhibition K'ang-Hsi, Yung-Cheng and Ch'ien-Lung Porcelain Ware from the Ch'ing Dynasty in the National Palace Museum, Taipei, 1986, cat.no. 48; and another from the Jingguantang collection sold at Christie's Hong Kong, 3rd November 1996, lot 561.
