Description

of lobed elongated rectangular form, the curved sides rising to an everted rim, sitting on four elaborate angular scrolling feet, the interior finely painted with a central panel of conforming shape containing three large florets and six iron-red bats on an interlocking scroll ground, the side with pendent bead and floret band below a key-fret band to the rim, the exterior with four bats divided by lotus florets on leafy scrolling stems, above a band of multi-coloured dots before the unusual scrolling foot with detached florets on leafy stems and scrolling border picked out in gilt on a red ground, the base glazed turquoise with nine 'sesame seed' spur-marks
