Description

of decalobed form with curved shallow sides, the centre enamelled with crickets perching amid grass and rockwork issuing full chrysanthemum blooms on leafy budding stems, with a butterfly fluttering above, the lobed sides on both interior and exterior decorated with panels of butterflies, insects, crustacea, alternating with prunus blossom, lotus, peony, crab apple, pinks and aster blooms in green, aubergine and yellow enamels, divided by a yellow border, all reserved on a soft pale-green ground
