Description
the cover intricately inlaid with a central panel enclosing a scene of two figures at a table laid with a qin on a pavillion terrace with an acolyte and heron perched on one leg nearby, underneath pine bamboo and prunus, the "Three Friends of Winter", issuing from rockwork, the curved shoulder with a floral scroll, the sides with four cartouches enclosing varying diaper patterns on a cash-diaper ground, the box similarly decorated, the base lacquered black inscribed in red with the character yi (harmony)
