Description

of hexalobed section, finely potted with deep straight tapered sides, cutting in to meet the short straight lobed foot, applied overall with an even bright lemon-yellow enamel, the base glazed white and inscribed with the six-character sealmark in underglaze-blue

Catalogue Note

It is rare to find Yongzheng bowls of this form, although a white-glazed bowl of the same shape and design was sold at Christie's Hong Kong, 1st November 2004, lot 1155.
