A similar set, together with the matching board and a presentation case, was sold in these Rooms, 24th November 1998, lot 388. See also C. Marusch-Krohn, Meissener Porzellan 1918-1933 Die Pfeifferzeit, pp.110f., and Meissen Porzellan von 1710 bis zur Gegenwart, exhibition catalogue, p.114, for the set with board in the Schauhalle of the Meissen manufactory.
