painted in the Grue workshop, possibly by Francesco Antonio Saverio Grue, depicting the Triumph of Galatea and the Triumph of Bacchus, each within a black-line border and ochre-edged rim

Another Castelli plaque painted with a similar scene of the Triumph of Galatea is illustrated in Antiche Maioliche Popolari di Castelli, exhibition catalogue, Florence/Castelli 1980, cat.no.60.
