the large clock modelled with scenes of huntsmen in 18th century attire standing on a naturalistic base, two holding a rifle, one retrieving a partridge, a deer, a wild boar and other game at their feet, the clock itself standing on four scrolling rocaille feet, this moulding extending over the side of the clock, the dial surrounded by a wreath of oak leaf and small squirrels and birds, the figure of Diana flanked by her two dogs holding her attributes of a bow and arrow, the metal and enamel dial set with Roman numerals
