A Meissen green-mosaic-ground ecuelle, cover and stand circa 1755-60

the ecuelle and cover with two panels edged with rocailles enclosing flowers and fruit against a green ground with trellis pattern enclosing flower heads, the entwined handles edged in purple and gilding, the cover with a lemon knop, the stand similarly decorated with pierced panels of floral scrollwork around the rim alternating with panels of fruit and flowers

A similar ecuelle, cover and stand was in the collection of Armand Esders, Paris, sold Hotel Drouot,19th and 20th June 1941, lot 105.
