Autograph transcript of a poem by Samuel Loveman about Lovecraft, "To Mr. Theobald Upon His Return to Providence," printed out in ink by Lovecraft and dated "April, 1926," 1 p., 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 in., 140 x 110mm — Lovecraft's pictorial bookplate, showing the entrance to a house with the front door ajar, 2 3/4 x 2 1/4 in., 68 x 57mm, inscribed by HPL in ink on verso: "What do you think of my new bookplate? Designed by young Wilfred B. Talman of the amateur [press] crowd. I am enthusiastically pleased with it..." — Incomplete autograph letter by Lovecraft, [Providence? Feb. 1924?], 2 pp., 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 in., 215 x 135 mm, piece cut from an upper corner with loss of greeting and some words on verso, mentioning "working like hell on the Houdini thing ['Under the Pyramids'] — just finished it! SHOCKING climax! Now to type...," with two limericks about Egypt and Samarkand with accompanying humorous sketches on verso. — "Application for Active Membership National Amateur Press Association," signed by HPL and with some corrections/revisions by him on the printed section, 4 x 6 in., 100 x 150mm. — and about 45 items of Lovecraftiana, including a snapshot of  HPL and Frank Belknap Long in Brooklyn in 1931, taken by Talman (captioned on verso), 6 TLS's and 1 TPCS from August Derleth to Walter J. Coates, carbon copies of 11 Coates letters (including 7 to Lovecraft, 1926-68), newsclippings, some late prints of photographs, etc.
