Third undated edition, sixth overall, of the first Italian chess book, one of the first printed books to discuss the new game, written by an apothecary from Portugal. Beginning with a discussion of each piece, the author goes on to describe three games and outline a variety of problems and studies, including blindfold chess. Chapters 8 and 9 are in both Italian and Spanish.
