3 brass gilt military uniform buttons, probably worn by the palace guard, from the reign of Kamehameha III, who held the throne of the Islands longer than other Hawaiian monarch (1825–1854), each 7/8 in. diameter, comprising: one with a crown surmounting the numeral 3, the whole bordered by the name Kamehameha (stamped on reverse "R. & W. Robinson | Extra Rich"), with shank — one with a crown surmounting the cipher k iii (stamped on reverse "Firmin & Sons. London"), with shank — one one with a crown surmounting the numeral 3, the whole bordered by the name Tamehameha (stamped on reverse "R. Robinson & Co. Attleborough | Super Fine"), with shank.
