3 amateur photograph albums, containing together approximately 400 mostly candid and professional photographs of Hawaii, ca, 1920s and 1930s, gelatin silver print (various sizes), direct-mounted or secured by corner tabs to heavy black sheets, many photographs with manuscript captions on the mount; some photographs loose, some in one album adhering to facing page. Various bindings. — Togther with 2 published souvenir picture albums of Hawaii, containing a total of 27 photo-reproductions of Hawaiian views.

Catalogue Note

The two large albums were evidently compiled by naval personnel stationed at Pearl Harbor, and they contain many scenic views, as well as shots around the base and portraits of companions. The smaller album contains about 60 family photographs taken near Honolulu.
