Iaukea, Colonel Curtis Pehu, Royal Chamberlain

Autograph note signed ("CP Iaukea | Chamberlain"), [Honolulu], one page on bilolium of mourning stationery (8 x 5 1/4 in.; 203 x 134 mm), 10 February 1887, to C. J. Fishel, instructing him to give Mrs. [C. B. ]Wilson six yards of white cotton and to charge the cost to funeral expenses; soiled and creased, 3 marginal nicks on second leaf, 2 small centerfold separations.

Preparations underway for the funeral of Princess Miriam Likelike, who died 2 February 1887. Likelike was sister to King Kalakaua and Princess Liliuokalani, and the mother of Princess Victoria Kaiulani. Mrs. Wilson was a close friend to Princess Liliuokalani.
