From May 1858 to March 1866, Captain E. C. Williams, a whaling ship captain, toured New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Maine, with a panorama variously titled Life in the South Seas, Grand South Sea Whaling Voyage, and Celebrated Representation of a South Sea Whaling Voyage.
