Cover letter mentioning an enclosed bill of lading (not present) for 30 casks of whale oil forwarded for shipment by Captain David Cochrane of the ship Oliver Crocker “now lying at Lahaina” and reporting that the Syren will leave for New Bedford in the coming month. — Williams.
