Catalogue Note

The present rare relief would have been one of a series of triumphs as illustrated by Weber, a complete set of which is in the Kunstgewerbe Museum, Hamburg. Weber records only one other version of the present relief in the Würtembergisches Landesmuseum Stuttgart.
