inscribed Stephanus Neuvecky.Röm.Kay.Mstt.etc.Mautner zu Hungarn, Barbara geborene Fürtenbacherin sein ehelich gehamel, of square section etched with the arms of Neuvecky and Furtenbach, within scrollwork mantling within a roundel , the border below and the spandrels with further scrollwork, traces of red, black and gold, mounted on steel frame (2)

Andreas Pleininger is recorded from 1585 as organist and sexton attached to the parish church in Gmunden and from 1600 in Regensburg. His etched and polychromed Kehlheimer stone oeuvre includes sundials, calendars and memorial plaques. He died in 1607. Kehlheimer stone, also known as Solhofen stone and Pierre de Munich is a calciferous limestone from the Jurassic era which was mined in the Kehlheim quarry near Regensburg and is known for its durable qualities.
