Description

  • 31cm., 12 1/4 in.
painted in blue against a powdered yellow ground, with a stage in front of a column surmounted by an orb and inscribed S on the base, flanked by figures of Orientals, enclosed by bands of trailing foliage, the pewter cover inscribed 'C.H./1724' beneath a crown and enclosed by laurels, struck with city and twice with maker's mark
