the first shaped rectangular, maker's mark FB, Vienna, circa 1920, further struck: 900, the lid painted with an 18th century serenade, the interior of the lid with later presentation inscription, height 10cm; the second of pocket-fitting form, struck: 935, further struck with a lion and crown, the lid painted with rustic figures, some dancing, some romancing, others toiling, 9.5cm; the third probably German, struck: 900, rectangular with bevelled sides, the lid painted with an amorous pursuit, 8.5cm
