30-cm arched painted dial with Roman numerals, diamond hands and fruit in the arch, weight driven eight-day wood posted Black Forest movement with anchor escapement and lantern pinions, countwheel striking on a bell, stained oak case with break arch hood, adorned throughout with ‘ Kerbschnitt’ carving, glazed break arch door, tapered trunk and door with oval lenticle, moulded base with recessed panel raised on tapered feet, pendulum lacking, together with a modern movement which can be used with this dial
