A fine Berlin cabinet plate mid 19th century

the centre painted with an octagonal panel with three vases filled with flowers in imitation of micromosaic, surrounded by a gilt and jewelled border on a blue marbled ground, below a burnished gilt border decoarted with eagles flanked by laurel branches, with three pink-ground reserves of exotic birds perched on branches and centred by a similar reserve decorated with a jewelled royal crown on a gold tasselled cushion, the reverse with a gilt border decorated with palmettes and inscribed with the names of the various botanical specimens
