10.5-cm enamel dial with Roman chapters and five minute numerals signed Viger A Paris, fine foliate pierced and engraved gilt hands, similarly signed flat bottomed escapement with verge escapement and silk suspended pendulum, numbered countwheel striking on a bell, fluted ormolu case surmounted by an armorial sphere and sundial, hung with a garland and drape against which a patinated putto seated on books is leaning against, stepped rectangular plinth with protruding corners and relief border raised on turned feet
