18k, first quality nickel lever movement, 20 jewels, screwed gold chatons, bi-metallic compensation balance, gold escape wheel, diamond end-stoneprecision regulator, signed and numbered gold cuvette with engine turned border, white enamel dial, roman numerals, subsidiary seconds, front with finely engraved flora and fauna, the aperture surrounded by blue enamel roundel with white enamel roman numerals, the numbered case back similarly engraved and centred with a blank cartouche, case, dial and movement signed

Catalogue Note

Interestingly no.3317 is illustrated in Meis, R., A. Lange & Söhne, 1997, p.152, pl.359-360. The movement and casing of numbers 3316 and 3317 are very similar to each other, although 3317 bears a metal dial.
