3½-inch enamel dial, bell striking movement with silk suspension No.501 in a bronze rocaille case forming a block on which Cupid is shaping a feathered wing using two hammers, a further completed wing to the left side, the octagonal plinth inset on the front with a plaque depicting putti attacking a bee hive flanked by trophies and raised on milled feet
