9½-inch dial signed Hallifax, London, the matted centre with calendar and mock pendulum apertures, moulded cast-brass bezel,  two train bell striking fusee movement with verge escapement, the richly gilded rococo case composed of flowers, `C' scrolls and shells; bell lacking, many pieces detached from the case
