  • 56cm. 22in. high
7½-inch dial with rococo spandrels, matted centre and subsidiary dials in the shallow arch for chime/silent, regulation and chime selection, massive three train fusee and chain trip-repeating movement with anchor escapement, rise and fall regulation and chiming on eight bells or four gongs with a further hour gong, broken-arch case of faded colour with urn finials, glazed sides, flanked at the front by gilt-brass Corinthian columns,  the front and sides inlaid with urns and foliate scrolls , the top with a brass presentation plaque dated January 12th 1895, raised on leaf scroll feet
