10-inch silvered dial signed Barwise, London, the outer minutes ring enclosing an hours sector and a seconds dial with astronomers' marks, the movement with five knopped pillars, shouldered plates, deadbeat escapement and maintaining power, the mercury pendulum with roller suspension and calibrated rating nut, the pointer oscillating against a silvered beat plaque,  the case with architectural sloping pediment, canted corners to the hood, the trunk with ribbed moulding around the top, full width panelled door veneered with well figured wood, panelled plinth with stepped base and bracket feet
